I only book one session a day unless they are mini sessions. A newborn session can take approximately 4 hours to ensure your session is not rushed and is completely baby led. This allows time for feeding, changing and settling your newborn baby. Maternity and Family Sessions are 90 minutes which gives plenty of time to create a beautiful gallery.

It is recommended you book your Maternity Session just after your 12 week scan to ensure availability. Sessions are best held between 26-34 weeks showing a beautiful bump and before you start to feel too uncomfortable.

Most people book a newborn session after their 20 week scan to ensure availability. I provisionally book in your new baby 7 days after their due date, allowing wriggle room because as we know, babies are not the greatest at time keeping - I only book 8 newborns a month to allow plenty of time for those that like to either give you an unexpected surprise or keep you waiting a little longer.

I advise to bring some drinks and snacks with you although I do have bottled water on hand. If your new baby has a dummy then please bring it along as this will help them settle. A spare set of clothes for yourselves is also recommended in case of any surprises your new baby may throw at us.

Plain neutral clothes, that fit well and are comfortable always work best and from the same colour pallette. Please avoid patterns and large logos when possible as these are distracting in your images. We want the main focus to be on you and not your outfits. Help and advice with this can be discussed if you wish at your consultation session. The studio will be toasty warm, especially during newborn sessions so layers are always a good idea.

The studio is open on Saturdays and during busy periods, Sundays also. Unfortunately I do not work on Bank Holidays.

A consultation Session is completely free of charge. An appointment is made for you to come and visit my Swindon studio to have a look around and meet myself for the first time. We can discuss your session to ensure it is tailored to be perfect for you and your family. If your session is for Maternity, you can have a look at the Gowns available and try some on to see which ones you feel comfortable in. If you have something specific in mind that I don’t have, I have the option of purchasing your own Gown (please see Maternity - T&Cs apply). We can also look at Wall Art, outfit choices and colour schemes to get the images you deserve to make stunning Art in your home and ask any questions you may have.

Not at all, if you don’t wish. For those of you that have been to the studio before and see how I work probably won’t need too. The benefits of these appointments are for new Client’s to feel more at ease on the day of their session. Knowing exactly what to expect on the day will help you feel much more relaxed, giving you much better images.

Payment Plans are available on purchases over £300. This can be done over a period of 2 or 3 months. No products will be received until payment has been made in full.

Print Credit is valid for a maximum of 30 days from your viewing session.

Sessions Fees are payable at the time of booking to secure your session and are non refundable. This includes your session time, full use of wardrobe and props, professional editing of your images and a private viewing session when your gallery is ready. No products are included in the session fee.

My studio is a very calm and relaxed log cabin in my back garden so is very private. Bathroom facilities are available in my home should you need them, however, these are upstairs. I am based in Swindon, Wiltshire, SN3.

I only book a maximum of 8 newborn sessions a month to allow for wriggle room due to early/late arrivals as babies arrivals are very unpredictable. Due dates are written in my diary once your booking is confirmed and once baby arrives, we then fix a suitable time for you all.

Once your gallery is ready, approximately 2-3 weeks after your session, maybe a little longer during busy periods but I try my best to keep to a maximum of 3 weeks. You are then invited to make a viewing appointment where you can then decide your favourites. Images are printed and mounted so you can see, and touch them. They are not shown on a screen. This makes is much easier for you to choose and design any wall art.

Absolutely 100% yes. Grandparents and other family members often attend viewing sessions as they are excited as you to see the finished images.
